In the Making. Todd Beistel lives and works in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Jennifer. First drawn to art by comic books, Todd dreamed of being a comic book illustrator. While still in high school, Todd self published Eye of the Probe, a comic anthology. This dream led Todd from Canton, Ohio to The Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio.

While in college, Todd wrote and illustrated Lost Souls, a graphic short story. Lost Souls was eventually published by Hunter Productions in Lyceum, a comic book anthology, and distributed nationally. As years passed, Todd’s interests evolved into fine art and graphic design. As a dedicated artist, he has been featured in venues throughout Ohio.

Currently. Todd is a web designer in Hilliard, Ohio. On several occasions, he has contributed illustrations to accompany columnists such as Dave Barry and Click and Clack. In addition, Todd fulfills freelance design commisions as well.

What is next? Todd will continue work on his animal series in pen and ink. In addition, Todd plans to illustrate a series of children’s books penned by his wife Jennifer Beistel.
